Professional Watercolour Artist
1995 - present
I developed as an artist, specialising in watercolour landscapes after becoming dissilusioned with the music industry during the 90's. I formed my own business as a landscape painter, enjoying my first exhibition in Holyhead, North Wales in 1997. I went on to produce a range of limited edition prints which were sold in galleries around North Wales. I started and set up an art group in the local community of Glasynfryn in North Wales and worked as a personal tutor for the privately funded Straits Art Society in Beaumaris. I also conduct seminars and demonstrations to various art groups around North Wales, including one-to-one classes in watercolour techniques. I took part in Channel 4’s Watercolour Challenge program hosted by Hannah Gordon in 1999 in which I won three of my heats and went on to participate in the grand final at Berkeley Castle in Gloucester.

Freelance Illustrator
2000 - present
I started working as a freelance Illustrator, working closely with councils and communities around Wales. Some of the work produced is artwork for interpretation panels and books for Flintshire Country Parks. I continue this work to the present day, juggling freelance illustration work with selling my own prints and original paintings on line and in shops around the country. I also continue to teach in the local community.
